We have a permanent opportunity for a Customer Service Officer in the Contaminated Land team in Environmental Services and Regulation, Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation. As the Customer Service Officer, you will:
Answer customer enquiries received by telephone and email, including provision of comprehensive advice.Update and maintain the EMR/CLR registers.Assist the team to manage workflow and work allocation and ensure the quality and accuracy of work.Represent the branch on working groups.Identify and contribute to business improvement initiatives and find solutions to service delivery challenges and problems.Interpret and provide information on departmental policy that relate to the responsibilities of the position.Review and maintain operational procedures.Maintain and support corporate systems and databases.Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of customers' details and the accuracy of information recorded in departmental systems.Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations peoples of Australia.Applications to remain current for 12 months Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.
