You will be the first point of contact for freight movement bookings and customer inquiries via phone and email.
You will be adaptable to difficult situations and have strong communication, customer service, and time management skills.

The Opportunity: Effectively assist with customer inquiries via phone and email, including meeting and greeting customers when required.Efficient data entry, utilizing (System/Program – E.g.
TruckMate) and producing reports ensuring a high level of accuracy.Liaising with a number of Followmont branches and other key stakeholders ensuring a prompt and professional service.Providing detailed tracking and reporting on freight movements and deliveries, including reporting on misdirected freight.General office and administration duties including data entry.Qualifications: Proven experience in a fast-paced Customer Service based role for a minimum of [2] years; experience within the transport industry is also highly regarded.A passion for going the extra mile to provide high-level service to all of our customers.Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base in a professional, prompt, and timely manner.A strong level of empathy, resilience, and capability for effective time management in organizing and prioritizing workloads.Robust attention to detail coupled with solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.If you encompass the above attributes and feel this position is a good fit for you, the Followmont Team would love to hear from you!
