Primary objective
To provide a full range of office services to the Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) including support to Vacancy Advertising Services, Accounts Receivable and other regional services.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Provide a cost effective and timely purchasing service for all requisites and stationery in accordance with the Northern Territory Government Procurement Policy.Process services orders and invoice payments.Arrange for routine and emergency maintenance of office equipment.Ensure all DCDD regions fleet vehicles are maintained and serviced regularly.Provide a property management service to ensure that all minor repairs are reported, and buildings maintained to a high standard.Provide administrative support to the Vacancy Advertising Services and Stamp Duty receipting and provide relief for Receiver Territory Monies and Accounts Receivable positions when required.Selection criteria:
Essential:
Demonstrated listening skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients.Previous experience using PCs and various software packages, e.g., Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.The ability to work as an effective team member in a front-line customer service position.Previous experience in cash handling.An understanding of Procurement Policy and Financial Management legislation.The ability to work without close supervision, set priorities, and meet deadlines.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of standard administrative practices and principles including Equal Employment Opportunity and Occupational Health and Safety.Demonstrated work ethic and attitude, which emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, respectful, and innovative.Desirable:
