ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for an experienced Ward Clerk with strong clerical skills, excellent customer service, and medical receptionist experience to be part of the Day Infusion Services team.
Duties include: Managing and scheduling patient bookingsAdmitting and discharging patientsManaging Day Infusion referralsGeneral reception dutiesInformation managementClerical duties which include filing clinical paperwork and Alpha/Numerical inputLiaising with various departments both internal and externalCollating clinical paperwork and patient packsWe are looking for a candidate with: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent phone etiquetteStrong multitasking and prioritisation skillsHighly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships within a team environment and with people of all levelsUnderstanding Person Centred Care and a friendly, sensitive and professional approach to patientsThe ability to respond positively and prioritise in a busy and changing environmentWHY WORK FOR SVPHM:
