With branches all over Victoria, they are vital in servicing their immediate community and the wider state by ensuring road safety for all licenced drivers and registered vehicles. They are currently seeking multiple experienced customer service professionals to join their cluster of offices in the West at their Deer Park office in the capacity of a Licence Testing Officer.
Your new role
You will have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment as a highly valued member of the customer service team. The role entails extensive off- and on-site training, including learning about customer service, Licence Testing, vehicle inspection and registration and much more. Your role will primarily be on the road-testing patrons on their driving abilities. You will also have the opportunity to be cross-trained in other areas within the branch such as registration & licence transactions and even responding to patrons' incoming calls from time to time.
You may have the chance to work at other nearby branches if required and could also be on call until 9 am on your rostered days off to cover unforeseen circumstances. Candidates MUST have a FULL DRIVING LICENCE.
What you'll need to succeed
Must have recent and relevant face-to-face customer service experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentA current Victorian FULL driver's licence with a clean driving historyMust be available to work over a 5-day roster averaging 30-38 hours per weekYou will need to be flexible to work across the other branches within the cluster, such as Sunshine, Coolaroo or WerribeeTech-savvy and digitally focused: They seek candidates proficient with computers, quick learners, and adaptable to new technologiesPersonable and team-oriented: The ideal candidates will be friendly, approachable, excel at customer service and thrive in a busy, collaborative environment.Driven and reliable: applicants should be energetic, eager to develop skills, resilient and able to multitaskYou must be a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen to be considered for this position due to the ongoing nature of these roles.
