Job DescriptionAbout the role - key responsibilities: Answer customer telephone and web inquiries and take ownership of the call through to generating a positive customer outcome.Quote creation and management of Customer orders through to completion, as per guided pricing structures.Under guidance, training and supervision, perform some project take-offs/estimates and bill of quantity calculations.Partnering with the external Sales Representatives to comprehend and gain intimacy of key projects, related project stakeholders, delivery and freight agreements to enable the successful delivery of all contractual agreements.Update project and quoting databases with relevant information about project status.Understanding Customer needs whilst influencing and negotiating Customer expectations, taking into account production timing and inventory availability.Build effective Customer relationships with key project stakeholders, track project progress, schedule and conduct follow-ups as agreed and update project delivery schedules to enable effective Inventory, Production and Dispatch Planning. Coordinate the purchase of any non-stocked items where required for sales orders.Resolve any Customer complaints in a timely manner, clarifying the complaint, determining the cause, providing solutions and expediting correction.
