Customer Service Consultant

We have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis in Newcastle.In this role, you will be an important member of the Customer Service team reporting directly to the Team Leader where you will provide phone and email customer service, sales, and support.The core responsibilities in this role include:Receiving inbound calls and email enquiries from commercial and domestic customersProactively making outbound calls to our existing customers to promote our products and servicesScheduling technicians' daysResolving customer queries quickly and accuratelyScheduling appointments for residential customersConverting incoming enquiries into sales opportunitiesLiaising with your fellow colleaguesMeeting call and internal sales targetsMaintaining our databases by ensuring customer records and details are up to date while ensuring compliance.Requirements:Experience working in customer service or call centre environments (essential)Demonstrated experience in phone sales and converting enquiries into salesCapable of working with multiple database systems and email programs with experience in word and spreadsheet packages desirableProficient with communicating verbally and electronicallyAble to work calmly under pressure while multi-taskingProven problem-solving skillsAbility to focus on delivering a 'wow' experience to customersAbility to work in a team environment to support fellow colleaguesProfessional, reliable, and punctual.Accurately enter data into systemsPlanning/Route experience preferred but not essentialAs part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete the pre-employment medical and reference checks.Rentokil Initial is a member of the FTSE 100 of leading companies.
