Position Overview:
The Customer Service and Scheduling Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day management and quality control of the Customer Service and Scheduling team while reporting to the Logistics and Customer Service Manager. This position will be critical to ensuring NCA is capable of meeting the demands of our growing customer and client base. This position is able to work remotely from home with occasional travel to Namoi's head office in Toowoomba. Experience managing an established team in a remote setting will be crucial for the success of this role.
Position Duties:
Supervise the NCA Customer Service team daily to ensure all customer export requests are met.
Lead the team to deliver on commitments.
Conduct customer demand and supply planning.
Act as SME on IT systems and drive improvement.
Prepare weekly reports for the Logistics and Customer Service Manager.
Act as a senior scheduler to assist the team with demands of each season.
Assist the Logistics and Customer Service Manager with all season start and IT update system processes.
Coach and develop Schedulers within your team.
About You:
Experience with warehousing-based logistics.
Experience within the Cotton and/or grain industries.
Experience scheduling trains and trucks.
Understanding of the Australian export and supply chain network and systems.
1-2 years previous team leadership management.
Previous experience dealing with the Department of Agriculture.
Cert III or higher preferred.
Remuneration package will be negotiated based on your knowledge, skills, and experience.
