Salary: From $ 81,211.85 per annum (Pro-rata) +11%superannuation
Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Health, Building & Regulatory Services is seeking an experienced Customer Service and Administration Assistant (Job Share)
Purpose: This job share opportunity requires enthusiastic customer-focused team members to effectively provide administrative support to the teams and manager responsible for Council's regulatory environmental health and building services.
About the role: To provide administrative support and customer service to the Health, Building and Regulatory Services Department and City Planning Division including the following:
Provide a range of customer service and administrative support services to assist in the provision of quality and efficient environmental health, building and regulatory services or other functions within the City Planning Division. Carry out a range of customer service and administrative duties associated with enquiries, action requests, complaints, correspondence, applications, certificates and other activities. Provide advice and respond to and resolve customer enquiries over the telephone or in writing. We trust you will bring: Highly developed experience in the use of Microsoft Office programs and other office software products and computer applications. Demonstrated administrative, organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with matters of a sensitive nature and to exercise discretion and initiative in addressing issues and problems.
