Customer Service and Administration OfficerAbout the roleThis full-time Customer Service and Administration Officer role is a fantastic opportunity to join the City of Port Lincoln.
You will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential administrative support to the wider team.
What you'll be doing Respond to customer enquiries across a range of communication channels including phone, email, and in-person.Provide accurate information and guidance to customers on council services and operations.Assist with the processing of customer payments, applications, and other administrative tasks.Maintain electronic and physical filing systems to ensure records are kept up-to-date.Primary point of contact for managing cemetery enquiries, including maintaining records and overseeing related tasks and responsibilities.Assist with the human resource function and participation in projects.Support the team with a variety of general administrative duties as required.What we're looking for Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding service to customers.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and efficient processes.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and other core office technologies.A friendly, professional, and helpful attitude with a genuine commitment to supporting the local community.What we offerAt the City of Port Lincoln, we prioritize a supportive and inclusive environment where every team member can thrive.
