MMG is a progressive, family-owned media business, the publisher of the Shepparton News as well as a dozen other news brands across the Goulburn Valley.
We are at the forefront of using technology to evolve how we create content that matters to our readers, and how we engage and attract more subscribers across mobile, web, e-editions, and social formats as well as in the printed newspapers and magazines.
We are looking for someone who is well-organised, reliable, and enjoys friendly customer interactions.
The job involves assisting our customers with their subscription-related queries, as well as data entry, invoicing and basic accounts tasks (which we are happy to teach you on the job).
The ideal candidate will:
Be familiar with technology and show a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and software.
Be comfortable making outbound calls to customers to offer subscription renewals and engage in retention efforts for cancelled subscriptions.
Learn the ins and outs of our subscription software and become an expert in our subscription software to provide effective support and assistance.
Provide troubleshooting advice to customers over the phone, assist customers in resolving issues with our services, including technical queries, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
Communicate in a friendly, professional manner with a range of customers, colleagues, and managers.
Be ready to help your teammates if needed.
