Customer Service / Administration AssistantFor over 20 years, Bidfood has provided quality ingredients to the foodservice and catering industry in Australia. With 50+ locations and a team over 2,300 nationwide, Bidfood is recognised as one of the country's leading distributors to the industry. A fulltime opportunity exists for an adaptable team player to join our Telesales team at our foodservice branch located in Albury. The hours of work will be 6:30am to 2:30pm.
About the Role: Reporting to the Administration Manager, this position is responsible for providing over the phone customer service and a high level of customer service to external customers in addition to performing other administrative tasks, reports, and quality assurance tasks and audits.
Duties: Respond to customer queries via telephone, in person, and by email in a professional and timely manner.Liaise with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure accuracy of supplier invoices, orders, resolve issues, and provide information as requested.Carry out Counter sales efficiently with a focus on excellent customer service.Facilitate smooth processing of sales enquiries and customer orders and quotes.Provide general administrative tasks with an emphasis on accuracy as required.Conduct internal audits of the Quality and HACCP based food system.Skills and Experience: Confident phone manner and excellent communication skills.Superior customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships.Action customer queries appropriately and in a timely manner.Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask.Able to work as part of a team and autonomously.Excellent computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems.Sales experience and an understanding of the foodservice industry or an allied industry would be an advantage.
