YOUR OPPORTUNITY Due to exciting growth within our business, we have created a unique opportunity for a Customer Inventory Partner to join our team working out of our Canning Vale WA office.
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the execution of our joint Blackwoods and Customer Supply Chain strategy, primarily focusing on exceeding the customers service expectations.
Integral to the success of the role, will be a capacity to generate detailed, accurate and insightful reporting, the ability to analyse and improve complex supply chain systems, whilst continuously challenging all aspects of our end-to-end supply chain model.
The Customer Inventory Partner will work in collaboration with key customer stakeholders related to our joint Supply Chain Strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead the delivery of strategic forecasting and inventory projects as requested by the Supply Chain Manager.
Ensure appropriate system input parameters such as safety stock overrides, optimal replenishment quantity, and lead-times.
Support the strategic sales team to promote, educate and facilitate customer demand profiling.
This includes attending customer sites with the sales teams as required.
The use of data to improve supply chain performance and overall business outcomes.
Develop relationships with the customer's inventory planners by introducing regular cadences to understand, demand forecast, potential system limitations, upcoming projects or any other opportunity for service improvement.
Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in supporting daily/weekly/monthly service level targets.
To be successful, you will have: Detailed knowledge of inventory systems, replenishment methodologies and demand management.
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel, Power Query and Power Bi.
Highly developed communication and listening skills.
The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, effective time management and problem-solving capabilities.
Continuous improvement mindset, with a collaborative and solutions focused approach.
Demonstrated previous experience in a similar role, with strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
Tertiary qualification in supply chain or quantitative discipline and/or relevant experience in an analytical or planning capacity.
Current Driver's licence highly regarded.
