About this role You will assist customers as they exit our rental locations.
Integral to this role is the checking driver's license and rental agreements, ensuring that the customer is in the correct vehicle whilst ensuring that the customer has had a good rental experience.
In this position, you will ensure a positive customer experience by addressing inquiries, resolving issues and providing information relevant to the customer.
This role performs duties and provides services which reflect the Company's values.
Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on the location, team size, brand and any specialised or specific requirements.
What you'll do Assisting customers at the exit gate, reviewing completed rental agreements with customers, continually ensuring knowledge of rates, policies and procedure is current and understood.
Performing a driver's license check and rental agreement check to ensure the customer is in the correct vehicle.
Educate customers on local driving laws, speed limits and road signs Provide directions out of the airport and information on the features of the vehicle Inspecting vehicles for damage, fuel levels, and operation of vehicle and accessories.
Solving problems raised by customers using sound judgement within applied empowerment guidelines and company policy.
Ensuring all vehicles are serviced regularly, and Certificate of Fitness, Road User Charge and Registration are up to date and entered into Wizard in a timely manner.
Removing damaged or problem vehicles from fleet to designated out-of-service area, completing incident reports, and notifying dispatcher or rental counter of vehicles taken out of service.
Providing coverage in the other teams as required.
Driving vehicles as required.
What we're looking for Applicants must have a  full and valid driver's licence This is a part-time position that requires opened availability to work days, weekends, nights, etc (As the working hours per week could be more than 24 hours per week, we couldn't consider student visa holders at this stage) Customer Service background, prior experience in the car rental industry is highly regarded.
