Our dedicated 20,000 employees optimize the branch, improve operational efficiency and maximize self-service availability for financial institutions and retailers across the globe.TITLE: Customer EngineerLOCATION: Krakow, PolandGRADE: 7POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:Provide installation, maintenance and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory/region to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.Perform Tier II work on products and services of medium-high complexity, including networks and software, item processing reader/sorters, and medium/high complexity networking/communications equipment.Primary services include hardware maintenance, installation, network management, multi-vendor maintenance and software support.Provide installation, maintenance and repairs on ATM (second line maintenance) and/or POS (Point of Sale) equipment and other electromechanical equipment.Manage customer incidents and build working relationships with customers.Understand and perform the various customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements and escalate issues as necessary.Verify site environment requirements prior to installation or rollout and install customer systems according to the installation plan.Analyze and correct all technical problems on equipment within assigned customer accounts.Perform periodic preventive maintenance routines and maintenance repair as a matter of routine.Respond to customer calls, including problem identification, escalation and resolution of operating system software problems.Responsible for network fault management and assists in performance management.Complete and maintain all administrative functions accurately and promptly.Sell supplies, low-end equipment, OEM products, and NCR maintenance contracts.Conduct work at customer site(s), local NCR offices, or in a virtual environment.May require prolonged travel and physical activity.Responsible for accurate reporting of calls and activity, including tracking and reporting all expenses incurred in the delivery of services.Capture detailed customer asset information for invoicing or billing activities.BASIC & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent.Native Polish, good English.2+ years of related experience.Ability to work with Microsoft Office suite; Experience on Windows XP, Windows 2000 operating systems required.Experience in PC Hardware Maintenance and support.Experience in IT - routing and switching.A+ Certification.ITE or Polytechnic in Electronics and Communications Engineering.Works well with minimal supervision; Good problem-solving skills; Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work.High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude.Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts, and on-call.#J-18808-Ljbffr
