About the RoleMars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Customer Development Manager to join their team. As a key member of the Mars Petcare team, you will be responsible for delivering business segment objectives and driving sales growth through strategic account management.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management: Manage a portfolio of key accounts, including Independent/Wholesaler Accounts, to deliver optimized solutions for Mars and our customers.Performance Reporting: Routinely evaluate performance and investment using various data platforms to deliver optimized solutions for Mars and our customers.Claims and Accrual Management: Contribute to and in some instances manage claims and accrual management to ensure accurate and timely resolution.Category Management: Contribute to and in some instances be responsible for account management of Independent/Wholesaler Accounts, including all areas of relationship management, pricing & promotion within guardrails, execution, category management, activation, and NPD/distribution.Customer Activation: Monitor and evaluate customer activation initiatives across the category to understand the effectiveness.Financial Performance: Contribute to the total financial performance of the SPT channel by delivering against agreed totals for managed accounts: GSV, TI and NSV targets, consistent with customer external RSV, GP and growth expectations.S&OP Process: Contribute to the Mars S&OP process through adherence to demand planning responsibilities such as promotional forecasting and Step 2 Feeder inputs, with all activities delivered in line with supply lead times and external customer expectations.Range Review: Assist with range review process internally and externally, in line with customer review timings and Mars Petcare deployment processes, through collaboration with internal stakeholders to grow Mars Petcare share, range and space.Executional Plans: Routinely deliver fit for purpose executional plans to Mars Petcare field team to facilitate best in class customer experiences and translation of customer strategies at store level.About Mars, Incorporated and its AffiliatesMars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is a global leader in the food and pet care industries.
