Overview

This position is working 40 hours per week, any 5 in 6 days including bank holidays.

Our drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with our customers is crucial to our success.

In this role you will be delivering frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bringing sunshine to our customers' doors (no matter what the weather is doing).
As such, you will enjoy meeting people and always be willing to go above and beyond what is expected.

Along with this, you will be working within our cold store that runs at a chilly -20ºC.
Protective clothing designed to deal with this temperature will be provided along with breaks to warm up and have a hot drink when necessary.

You will need to work as part of the wider team always looking to help out the office team.

£12.00 per hour + bonus + benefits

Responsibilities Deliver frozen meals to our customers in a timely mannerPicking orders within the cold storeUsing our app to update customers deliveriesDelivering exceptional customer service at all timesUndertake pre-shift inspection of your vanDrive safely, responsibly and within the lawClean and refuel your van as and when neededContact the office with any discrepancies or delaysEnsure customer confidentialityHelping the office team and picking team when requiredReporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issuesAssist the team if another member of the team is absent or on holidayCarry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers About you Essential: Experience within a customer service-based roleFull UK Manual Driving LicenceBasic computer literacy including use of phone appsEvidence of work stabilityBasic secondary education Desirable: Experience of multi-drop delivery roleExperience within a care-based roleWarehouse experienceHealth & Safety awareness Personal Qualities Friendly, approachable and reliablePassionate about delivering excellent customer serviceGood attendance and timekeeping
You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 3 years.

All offers of employment are subject to a Driving Assessment, Driving Licence checks and DBS checks.

As this role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, it is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Standard DBS Disclosure.
