Job Description The Animal Referral Hospital is one of the most respected emergency and specialist veterinary hospitals in Sydney. About your new role Due to ongoing growth in the business we need YOU to join our Customer Care team. Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, the duties include:
Handling high volumes of inbound callsLiaising with referring vetsWelcoming clients and their pets to the hospitalBooking and managing appointmentsInvoicing and taking payments – including cash and EFTPOSProcessing payments on Vetpay and Medipay finance platformsData entry and requesting documents from referring vets and clientsManaging email enquiriesAbout You A solid professional background in customer service (min 2 years is essential)Experience in reception or high volume call centre environmentThrive in fast paced environments and can remain calm under pressure or during busy times and emergency situationsWell-developed computer skills with accurate data entryExperience with RxWorks is highly desirable but not essential as we will train the right candidateExperience with appointment entries, invoicing, and taking paymentsWillingness to go above and beyond during busy timesAbility to think outside the box with great multi-tasking and problem solving skills to achieve best possible resultsEffective time management skills when there are multiple distractionsAmazing attention to detailFriendly, warm, and professional phone manner with the ability to converse with a range of different people with compassion and empathyExperience dealing with difficult clientsStrong interpersonal and relationship skillsEnjoy working in a close-knit team and be team focusedAbility to cope well with high call volumes and demanding clientsAvailability during busy peak seasons (Christmas, Easter, and school holidays) and flexibility in picking up additional shifts to support your teamAs we're a 24-hour hospital, the successful candidate must be available for various shifts (day, afternoon, and overnights) Monday through Sunday.We Offer This position offers an opportunity to work with some of the best clinicians in their field, in a professional and challenging yet enjoyable workplace.
