About the RoleAs a Customer Assist Consultant, you'll play a key role in helping to provide customers with genuine assistance through periods of agreed financial hardship, managing the assistance until the agreement has finished in accordance with business policy.

Note: 2 available opportunities What will your day look like?As a Customer Assist Consultant, you will:
Assist customers with their hardship enquiry by assessing applications and making recommendations.Determine the most appropriate course of action to provide a genuine assessment to assist Suncorp Customers experiencing periods of financial hardship.Complete summary Loan File checks, if applicable, to review initial customer lending.Provide empathy to customers and direct them to appropriate counselling services where necessary.Provide guidance and information to customers where a Hardship Notice is evidenced.Maintain relationship and regular contact with allocated customers until their financial difficulties have been remedied, or other alternatives have been sought.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong experience in a similar role is desired but not mandatory.Understanding of the legal and regulatory framework in which the team must operate is desired.Banking and lending experience is desired, but not mandatory.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
