You will be a key team member of a Big 4 Bank in a rewarding, inclusive and supportive team environment. The core function of this role is to assist customers with payment solutions for their loan or credit card. In this position you will be using genuine empathy and care with customers to help them get back into a healthier financial situation. This role requires a commitment to full time working hours, and will see you working 38 hours per week between Monday-Saturday.
Key Responsibilities: Handling calls from customers experiencing financial hardship while providing a great over the phone experienceUsing active listening to truly understand the customers situation, to then provide much needed solutions to assist with their financial situationNegotiating with customers to find sustainable solutions to their financial situation, and helping them get back on trackBuilding strong rapport with customers to ensure they have a positive experience, through genuine care, empathy and engagementAchieve agreed key performance measuresKey Skills and Experience: Experience in a customer service environment required, from a phone based/retail environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsResilience and empathy are the key to success in this roleA Finance/Business or Psychology background will be highly regardedExperience in a financial hardship role will be highly regardedKey Requirements: 38 hours per week working between Monday - Saturday, on a rotating roster between 8am - 8pmMust be able to pass a National Police History Check and 2 Reference ChecksMust be able to be located in Southern SuburbsMust be able to commit to a 9 month contract termYou will receive: An introduction into Banking with one of the Big 4 BanksFour weeks of hands on training plus ongoing post-training supportA supportive and fun environment offering potential career growthCompetitive hourly remuneration paid weekly with a range other benefitsOn site free parkingAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
