Multiple opportunities available for those who are passionate about Customer Service, have a genuine interest to assist people and are serious about starting their career in banking. You will be required to assist customers through various tools and negotiations to find solutions in order to bring their loan, credit card or transaction account into balance. This 9 Month contract is an exciting opportunity, with a May start date.You will be a key team member of a Big 4 Bank and will be working in a rewarding, inclusive and supportive environment! As the title suggests, this role will be to assist customers with payment solutions, understanding life can get in the way and using empathy to work with customers on making a payment plan to assist them. This role will see you working 38 hours per week between Monday-Saturday.Key Responsibilities:Handling calls from customers experiencing financial hardships, providing professional assistance using positive language to truly understand the customers situationWork a portfolio of accounts, implementing and utilising strategies and legal processes to ensure all accounts are managed in the most time and cost-effective mannerNegotiating with customers to find sustainable solutions to their financial situationBuild strong rapport with customers to ensure they have a positive experience, through genuine care and interestAchieve agreed key performance measuresKey Skills and Experience:Experienced in a customer service environment, where you have serviced customers either over the phone or face to faceExcellent communication skills both written and verbalExperience in a hardship's role will be highly regardedResilience and Empathy is your key to success in this roleA Finance/Business or a Psychology background will be highly regardedKey Requirements:38 hours per week working between Monday - Saturday, anywhere from 8am - 8pmMust be able to pass a National Police History Check and 2 Referee ChecksMust be able to be located in Southern SuburbsMust be able to commit to a 9 month contract termYou will receive:An introduction into Banking with one of the Big 4 Banks4 weeks of training plus ongoing supportA supportive and fun environment offering potential career growthCompetitive hourly remuneration paid weekly as well as a range other benefitsOn site free parkingAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.To apply please click apply or call Shaan Kelly on 08 8216 3535 for a confidential discussion.Come join our global team of creative thinkers, problem solvers and game changers.
