Join the team We have an amazing opportunity for a talented Customer Analyst to join our high performing and collaborative team.
Reporting to the Analytics Lead, the Customer Analyst is responsible for delivering a roadmap of data initiatives that identify efficiencies, unlock opportunities and generate revenue across the Customer function. You will have access to large data sets, giving you the ability to make a tangible impact with your analyses.
What you'll be doing: Drive the adoption and use of data in decision making across the organisation through ad hoc data analysis, reporting and BI visualisation.Perform exploratory analysis and identify important patterns and relationships within the data.Work with stakeholders to understand their business problems and drive commercial outcomes by providing impartial, hard-hitting insights of accurate, trustworthy data.Provide technical expertise in data management within marketing and advertising execution platforms to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns.To be successful in this team you will have: Technical Skills required Analytics Competency – high level competency in SQL (Snowflake), advanced Excel, Data Visualisation (eg PowerBI, Tableau), Python/R (desirable but not required).Business Acumen – knowledge of key and contributing metrics used to assess and derive insights from customer and transaction data.Ability to proactively translate business needs into data / reporting requirements.Ability to clearly articulate commercial benefits of analytics.Stakeholder Management – ability to work with internal stakeholders.Commercially savvy, naturally curious, able to positively challenge existing practices.Naturally collaborative with a strong emphasis on building relationships both internally and externally.Work Experience 2+ years' experience as an analytics professional with an emphasis on proactive, insights driven analysis.Experience using insights to tell a story, solve business problems, affect change and realise value.Experience working in complex, fast paced environments with multiple internal and external stakeholders with differing analytics requirements.Strong stakeholder management/internal consulting experience communicating results of analysis in a format suitable for a range of stakeholders.Benefits we'll offer you: Flexible hybrid working options through our Flex Where, Flex When, Flex Well policy.A team member discount card that gives you a discount at Kmart and Bunnings.Access to the Kmart for You benefits program which entitles you to exclusive discounts and benefits in the areas of entertainment, travel, lifestyle, and health – with over 60 suppliers!Opportunity to participate in a bonus program.Inclusive parental leave, and ongoing support offered through our partnership with Circle In for team members of all backgrounds and family circumstances.A dynamic learning and support program.Opportunity to fast track your career through our Mentor Program as a Mentee or Mentor.A Kudos recognition program, where you are nominated by your peers to spin a wheel, to win a stack of cool prizes.Great career opportunities across the broader Wesfarmers Group.We're here to make everyday living brighter From humble beginnings in Burwood East, Victoria, in 1969, we're now an essential part of 300 communities.
