Our team is responsible for investigating refund escalations to ensure we consistently provide our customers with the best possible resolution. Our Customer Accounting Specialists manage the accounting process to ensure billing, payments, and account reconciliations are accurate and completed on time.
Job DescriptionYour impact in the role: Account Reconciliations: Ensuring that customer accounts are properly reconciled, matching payments to invoices, processing refunds, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.Customer Inquiries: Acting as a point of contact for customers regarding any financial or accounting-related inquiries and providing excellent customer service to address their concerns.Financial Reporting: Preparing regular financial reports related to customer accounts, including outstanding balances, payment history, and other relevant metrics.Account Maintenance: Keeping customer account information up to date, making necessary adjustments, and maintaining accurate records.Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborating with sales, customer operations, and finance teams to resolve any issues related to customer accounts, ensuring a smooth and seamless customer experience.Compliance: Ensuring that all accounting practices related to customer accounts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Identifying Improvements: Continuously analysing processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and accuracy.Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat we love to see: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Why Webjet?
