The Customer Account Credit Officer is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on credits; managing day-to-day investigation and processing of customer credits. This dual role ensures the smooth operation of credit processes and maintains positive relationships with clients by addressing inquiries and resolving account-related issues promptly. This role will also support the customer service team in completing general customer service tasks, processing orders, and answering phone calls.
Location – Ingleburn, New South Wales
This role is a 4-day-a-week role, or 30.4 hours per week.
The Impact You'll Make; Accounts Management: Prepare and issue credit notes accurately and promptly.Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.Facilitate the return of credited items.Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries related to account issues in a professional manner.Ensure prompt follow-up to customer inquiries, resolving complaints or issues related to accounts and orders efficiently, escalating where necessary.Collaboration & Support: Work closely with other departments, including sales and warehouse, to investigate and resolve any account or billing-related issues.Provide support to the customer service team with ad hoc projects or tasks as required.Provide reporting to the team to show count and value of credits processed, identifying root cause trends.About You: Exceptional customer service focus.Excellent attention to detail.Adaptability in approach to the role.Friendly and approachable personality.Conflict management skills.Ability to multi-task.Ability to resolve customer conflicts.Experience in accounts payable and receivable.Strong customer service experience with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.Additional Information: Illinois Tool Works is an equal employment opportunity employer.
