Queensland Corrective Services – Gatton QLDSalary per fortnight: $3,601.39 to $4,393.13 (includes shift allowances and superannuation)Salary per annum: $93,956.32 - $114,612.78 (includes shift allowances and superannuation)This talent pipeline is open for candidates to apply for the role of Custodial Correctional Officer (CCO) for Southern Queensland only. If you are successful, these are some of the activities you would do:Induct prisoners into the centre.Support and oversee prisoner attendance at vocational training, education & employment.Support engagement in cultural programs.Create file notes and reports for case management.Operate control rooms.Undertake perimeter surveillance and searches.About Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre (men's) and Southern Queensland Correctional Centre (women's)The Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre is currently under construction.When complete in 2024, it will be a men's facility that will focus on rehabilitation to reduce offending.Southern Queensland Correctional Centre is a women's facility that provides high security placement accommodation for sentenced and remand women that are classified as high or low security.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
