Job Reference: 778341   Your new role    We are seeking a Future Student Advisor to champion our equity portfolio and play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our diverse student cohorts.
This position is integral in promoting access, engagement, and success for students who come from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they have the support and guidance they need to thrive at university.
In this role you will have the chance to support equity student cohorts, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students, those from regional and remote areas, students from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and students with disabilities.

As a Future Student Advisor (Equity), you will: Deliver high quality service to prospective students Be the go-to contact for future student enquiries within the equity portfolio relating to course information, entry requirements, alternative pathways and support services Manage and escalate enquiries efficiently to other teams to ensure successful outcomes Engage with equity student cohorts through various communication channels, including phone, face-to-face interactions, online enquiries, and events Represent Curtin University at key recruitment activities and bespoke events Maintain productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Assist with marketing campaigns with a focus on equity through service delivery and outreach This position would be well suited towards a dedicated problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to work with a diverse range of people.
Essential  Completion of degree; or completion of a diploma with considerable relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated experience in customer service delivery and a personal commitment to continually achieving a high level of client satisfaction.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage own work activities and priorities to meet work area requirements and deadlines.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to use discretion and knowledge to determine appropriate actions.
Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills with ability to construct documentation and articulate information clearly and professionally.
Role Requirements: As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfaction.
This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check  You can look forward to  setting up our prospective equity students for success through shaping their educational journey, as you nurture applicants throughout the entire process – anywhere from enquiry to enrolment.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in unique marketing events to promote the distinct Curtin experience.
