Curragh mine 8:6 Roster day shift only DIDO - Camp and meals provided About the role WorkPac are seeking an experienced SHE Advisor DIDO for our client located at Curragh mine. This position is for a 6 month duration and will hold a 8:6 roster working day shift only. Key responsibilities: Provide advice to the Project Manager and other project leaders on the implementation and application of the authorised SHE and Training Plans for the project; Notify, classify and record in the incident database all incidents that occur on the project such that a complete and accurate incident record exists; Conduct audits, inspections and observations to demonstrate visible safety leadership and sound audit practice; Prepare and update (at least monthly) the project SHE Risk Register to produce a dynamic risk management tool for the project; Periodically review the Risk Register to assess its effectiveness and provide advice to the Project Manager such that they are able to make necessary changes according to planned work; Apply, monitor and maintain the project SHET Activity Planner such that it conforms to Golding requirements; Monitor and report on the implementation of project SHE and Training management plans and the SHET Activity Planner (including identified corrective actions) to the Project Manager as required; and Attend project management meetings to provide technical advice to project leaders so they can mitigate the risks inherent in their work and the work of their subordinates; Attend meetings with clients; Provide technical input into investigation reports and lead significant investigations; Develop content, provide input and deliver SHET information and training (including inductions); Skills and Experience required Current Coal Board Medical - or ability to obtain Current Standard 11 OSH qualification Previous SHE Advisor experience Mine site experience advantageous About WorkPac WorkPac is Australia's largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
