About the Role An excellent opportunity for a skilled Administrator to join Santos' Cultural Heritage team based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Manager Cultural Heritage and Aboriginal Engagement, you will work closely with the Cultural Heritage and Aboriginal Engagement team to provide strong administrative support function across a wide variety of tasks related to the day-to-day operational business. Primarily focussed on proactive provision of compliance, process and financial administrative support in delivery of approvals across regional operations
The position will create and maintain an effective and supportive administrative office environment and will be an efficient and first point of contact for stakeholders, including key Traditional Owner stakeholders and internal stakeholder representatives.
This position will have access to commercially sensitive information and thus the role requires a high level of personal integrity and discretion be exercised at all times.
Key Accountabilities:
Overall management of the day-to-day administrative and compliance activities associated with the Aboriginal and Cultural Heritage team function. Administrative support the team in delivery of approvals across the regional operations including tracking process and expenditure. Support the team to communicate with its key stakeholders in a clear, concise and transparent manner. Provision of support in identification and implementation compliance uplift projects across the regional footprint. Managing office operations and ensuring an effective, accessible and smooth functioning administrative environment: Support the on-boarding and orientation of new staff. Manage accounts payable in the Santos system. Liaise with the team to facilitate proactive preparation and distribution of documents and reports, as required. Act as key administrative contact for the team to ensure a coordinated and cohesive administrative function is maintained at all times. Monitor the team inbox and, as soon as reasonably practicable, action all communications with external stakeholders. Manage corporate travel for team members and external stakeholders. Manage and arrange internal and external events as directed by the team and function.  Responsible for compiling and issuing the Weekly Report and Monthly Report and facilitating team weekly meetings. About You To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills/experience:
Strong compliance focused, high level administrative experience where proactive identification and implementation of administrative requirements is a must Diligence, being organised with attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively in a broad team environment, build relationships both internal and external to the business Experience interacting effectively with internal and external stakeholders Experience in working with landholders, Traditional Owners and statutory bodies Excellent writing and communications skills and experience in approvals Any previous experience managing an office or equivalent experience managing a professional team in a large business will be looked upon favourably.
