A few of your responsibilities Thorough knowledge of the entire menu, including an understanding of all base products and ingredients used.
Food is prepared for food presentation, in line with menu requirements and kitchen standards (SOP's) Mentor and develop the Demi's, Commis', Cooks and Apprentices in the team Be able to perform complex cooking duties and produce a dish/recipe, from a combination of ingredients without supervision and assist mis en place across all sections.

If applying for more senior positions certification and qualifications will be necessary as well as high volume culinary experience.
