Responsibilities: Instruct an engaging cooking class experience with excellent and consistent client service, following provided event guides and recipesTeach clients in an informative yet approachable mannerCreate a friendly, energetic, and consistent experience for our guestsComfort leading events for all ages - from budding chefs as little as age 2 to adultsWork quickly and efficiently while managing a strict event timeline – on some events you may work solo, others you will manage and supervise a team of assistantsManage event needs from start-to-finish (from room set-up and ingredient prep to seamless event execution and thorough clean-up)Maintain a controlled, clean environment, providing first aid/CPR treatment if neededExperience & Qualifications: Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environmentNatural curiosity and passion for food and culinary entertainmentProficient in a broad range of cooking and baking techniquesExcellent communication and leadership skillsConfident speaking in front of groups with an amplified voiceMinimum of 1-2 years of professional kitchen operations, food, nutrition, or culinary experience or a teaching background with proven passion and knowledge about/ability to demonstrate a solid foundation of cooking and baking skills; previous culinary instruction experience preferredAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 poundsAvailable evenings and weekends, willing to work a flexible scheduleCPR/first aid certified or willing to obtain certificationWho we are: Taste Buds Kitchen has captivated the country with a refreshingly simple concept: providing culinary entertainment to kids, families, and adults in a fun, beautiful, and state-of-the-art kitchen studio.
