The Role
This site-based Diesel Mechanic role is based at a workshop on a major mining site.
Key responsibilities include:
Scheduled Servicing & Repairs: Maintain Caterpillar mining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Advanced Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently and effectively.
Air-Conditioning Repairs: Maintain and repair air-conditioning systems to ensure operational comfort.
Breakdown Response: Deliver swift solutions to minimise downtime and keep operations on track.

What We're Looking For

Key requirements include:
Qualifications & Licenses:
Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate with at least 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience.
Automotive Air-Conditioning License.
Valid Drivers License.
Technical Skills:
Strong diagnostic capabilities with Caterpillar mining equipment.
Effective troubleshooting skills in high-pressure situations.
Ability to work independently and uphold high standards of workmanship.
