To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Proven experience: As a Truck Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic. Trade certification: Relevant and certified qualifications. Knowledge of Japanese trucks: Highly advantageous. HR licence: Desirable but not essential. Strong problem-solving abilities and quick-thinking skills. Time management and organisational skills. A high degree of integrity and a commitment to safety. Outstanding customer service and rapport-building capabilities. The ability to mentor and coach apprentices and trainees. What You'll Do
Your key responsibilities will include:
Inspecting and repairing diesel-engine vehicles. Safely operating tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment. Performing routine repairs like oil and tyre changes. Accurately interpreting diagnostic test results. Creating and explaining detailed inspection reports and repair plans to customers. Advising customers on repair options and costs. Training and mentoring apprentices and junior staff. Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations. Collaborating with other mechanics to achieve service excellence. Perks & Benefits
