About the Role
Reporting to the Fixed Operations Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our Parts Department, ensuring smooth inventory management, outstanding customer experiences, and efficient team coordination. Key Responsibilities
Assist the Fixed Operations Manager in managing the Parts Department, including inventory control, ordering, and receiving parts. Ensure accurate and timely processing of parts orders and deliveries. Maintain organized and efficient parts storage areas. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers and technicians with parts inquiries and orders. Monitor and manage department performance metrics, including inventory turnover and customer satisfaction. Develop and implement parts department policies and procedures. Drive parts sales growth and foster new customer relationships. Respond promptly to all customer inquiries. Coordinate with service and sales teams to ensure timely parts availability. Support the training and development of department staff. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies. Handle escalated customer issues, ensuring loyalty and satisfaction. Support the Fixed Operations Manager in achieving departmental goals. What We're Looking For
Proven experience in parts management or a related field, preferably in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to lead and mentor a team. Proficiency in inventory management systems. A results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding targets.
