Why not join Australia's leading private health care provider?We will support you to learn and grow and value your contribution!About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for Lake Macquarie Private Hospital's theatre department and external customers.
This will include working in conjunction with the Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where applicable. This is a critical part of the surgical process and the ability to work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines is crucial.
You will ensure consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSD whilst practising exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department.
About You To succeed in this role you will bring proven experience in Clinical Sterilisation services, ideally within a hospital setting. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Minimum 1 year experienceHigh attention to detail and accuracy.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing teamRemuneration $29.36 - $34.49 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (Sterilisation Technician Grade 1 to 2) About the Organisation Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is a 187 bed acute Medical and advanced surgical hospital situated on the Pacific Highway at Gateshead, 15 kms south of the Newcastle CBD.
