KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Essential Qualifications: Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (HLT 37015) as a minimum, or working towards the same. Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills Understanding of the importance of all standards relevant to CSSD, in particular, AS/NZS 41887 2014 and Australian Guidelines for the preventions and Control of Infection in Health Care 2019. Understanding of the importance of prioritised equipment Understanding of the ACORN standards. Demonstrated experience working in CSSD/Theatre environment. Demonstrated ability to meet processing deadlines, schedules and to be able to set goals and objectives. Personal Qualities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
