About the role:
CSR are seeking a dynamic Work Health & Safety Business Partner committed to excellence in safety, sustainability, and compliance. We are seeking a passionate and experienced WHSE Business Partner to drive a culture of safety leadership and continuous improvement across our Coopers Plains and Brendale.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performance Analysis: Assess safety performance, identify gaps, and prioritize actionable improvement plans. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement risk reduction strategies ensuring compliance with legislation and WHSE standards. Program Implementation: Lead key risk programs, system standards, and hazard management initiatives, championing CSR frameworks like Never Walk Past and Permit to Work. Safety Culture: Foster a proactive safety leadership culture by coaching management, frontline leaders, and operators. Continuous Improvement: Implement efficient processes and systems to support ongoing safety improvements. Compliance: Establish and maintain safety practices in alignment with CSR's WHSE Responsibility & Authorities standards and the National Self Insurance Audit Tool. Incident Management: Oversee investigations, identify root causes, and ensure timely action completion to prevent recurrence. Contractor Management: Drive contractor accountability and provide guidance to team members overseeing contractors. Committee Leadership: Chair WHSE Committees to enhance collaboration and safety outcomes. What you bring to the role
You are a dedicated safety professional with proven experience in leading WHSE programs in complex environments. Your expertise in risk management, compliance, and safety leadership makes you a trusted partner to stakeholders at all levels.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Strong knowledge of WHSE legislation and standards. Experience in risk reduction planning and safety systems implementation. Proven ability to coach and lead teams towards safety excellence. Effective stakeholder engagement and change management skills. Familiarity with incident management processes and root cause analysis. What we offer
