We are seeking a seasoned CAPEX Procurement Category Manager to lead our procurement strategies and deliver exceptional outcomes across our business.
About the role: This pivotal role will focus on developing and leading the CAPEX procurement function at CSR. You will shape and execute category strategies to drive compliance, optimize spend, and enhance supplier relationships while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute short- and medium-term sourcing plans, compliance programs, and tools like Porter and Risk Matrices to optimize category spend. Implement procurement strategies that strengthen supplier collaboration, minimize costs, and fortify the supply chain. Engage with business units to ensure compliance and alignment with CAPEX category goals. Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers and site representatives, as well as external CAPEX partners, to deliver on strategic sourcing objectives. Establish and maintain governance-compliant frameworks and processes for CAPEX procurement. Lead continuous improvement initiatives by developing efficient processes and systems. Ensure alignment with market trends, organizational needs, and legislative requirements. Promote a proactive safety culture by adhering to WHSE standards and responsibilities. About You: To succeed in this role, you will bring:
10+ years of experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing. Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or a related discipline. Proven expertise in implementing procurement and supplier management strategies. A strategic, analytical mindset with the ability to identify improvement opportunities. Exceptional leadership and influencing skills to drive alignment across teams. A strong commitment to safety and WHSE compliance.
