Cso Practical Legal Training Student

Details of the offer

The Crown Solicitor's Office (CSO) offers placements to students wishing to complete the Practical Legal Training (PLT) component of their professional qualifications.
Placements are offered to approximately four students three times per year, for a period of four weeks (150 hours).
Potential applicants are advised that there are three intakes for 2024.
This advert is for applications for the intake occurring: 21 October 2024 to 15 November 2024.

Please provide your University Academic Summary – Law Results by saving your results into a Word Document or PDF and including as a page at the end of your cover letter.

Application Requirements A CV outlining your employment history including 2 current referees.
A cover letter (University Academic Summary detailing law results included at the end of cover letter).
Placement is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.
Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
If invited to attend an interview, you will also be required to complete a pre-placement declaration.
