About the role The Cryo-management Coordinator will play a crucial role in the laboratory team.
Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Coordinate storage of gametes and embryos Oversee the effective coordination of embryo and gamete import and export in a timely manner, per guidelines and legislation Ensure timely communication with patients and internal/external stakeholders regarding movements between clinics Communicate with customers who have items in cryostorage by mail/email and phone, as required Record and maintain cryostorage and customer communication data Preparation of paperwork regarding action required for gametes and embryos Ensure accurate documents are sent to laboratories working in accordance with legislation and Monash IVF policy Communication between nursing, genetics, embryology and admin departments Send all customer requests for donation of their stored items to the Donor Team Perform administrative duties including scanning documents Prepare regular transport reports and other ad hoc reports as directed Collaborating with others to achieve the Monash IVF Group Mission.
Ideally you will bring Well-developed communication skills Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills – Word, Excel, OneNote Demonstrated high level of attention to detail Excellent patient/customer service skills – written and telephone A strong orientation to achieve outcomes in operational performance and patient satisfaction  An ability to resolve issues and solve day to day operational challenges Empathetic towards patients during highly sensitive conversations Personal effectiveness Ability to work cohesively within a multi-disciplinary team Ability to work remotely across multiple geographically diverse sites Ability to set priorities, time manage and meet deadlines Ability to follow detailed checklists/procedures Pass National Police check A willingness to fit in and embrace the Monash IVF Group Principles: Care, Collaborate, Communicate, Commitment and Create.
