We are an equal opportunities employer with a strong focus on training and personal development.All of us at Cape are driven by our core RIPPA values of Respect, Integrity, Passion, Persistence and Accountability.At Cape, we are looking to attract and retain talented people who:Strive for excellence in everything they doEnjoy working as part of a teamAre concerned about the environment and countryLike to contribute to the local community and wider charitable interestsDue to increased demands, we are seeking multiple crushing fitters to join our established Cape Crushing Team on an 8/6 roster pattern.Your role will see you bring to Cape Crushing the proven ability in:Carrying out in-house and mobile preventative maintenance, inspections, servicing and repairs to Cape fleet of Plant and Equipment.Carrying out the requisition of all spare parts, components, consumables and major unit assembly items as required for allocated service, repair and build up work.Servicing, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and equipment.Completing all worksheets, inspection forms, fault reports and other documentation as required.Cleaning and housekeeping duties in the Workshop.Daily work plans and forecasts.Mentoring and training apprentices and trainees.Running part diagnostics.The interpretation of parts, part drawings and plans.Compliance with any and all statutory, regulatory, governance and legislative requirements without exception.Ensure production targets are met.Ensure plant utilisation is optimised and damage is minimised.Minimum Requirements:Trade Qualification – HD-Mechanical or Diesel Fitter (Australian Recognised)Maintenance on mobile crushing equipmentBreakdown prevention maintenanceHydraulic SystemsKnowledge of cone and jaw crushers, screens and conveyors (Kleemann, McCloskey, Powerscreen, Metso, Finlay)Operate Loader, Excavator, IT, Bobcat/Skid steer and EWP (Desirable)Nationally accredited operator tickets (Desirable)Confined space, Working at Heights, High Risk Work Licence (WP, RB, RI, RA, DG) (Desirable)Team Player that can work unsupervisedValid Australian Drivers Licence (HR) (Desirable)Cape employee benefits can include (dependent on your role):Employee Benefits - Corporate Private Health DiscountsPenalty ratesProject incentive accrualsFantastic career development and ongoing training opportunitiesPermanent contract - with all leave entitlements (leave loading is permissible for blue collar on ground roles)Job security, ongoing work opportunitiesInternal training and developmentCape Supporting a Diverse Workforce:At Cape, we recognise that we are strengthened by diversity.
