About the role Our Front of House roles are integral positions in our hospitality operations. The Cruise Director manages all aspects of the onboard hospitality operations of their allocated area, deck, or whole vessel. The overall role of the Cruise Director is to provide the organisation, supervision, co-ordination, and direction necessary to ensure that every cruise is a success and that passenger expectations are always exceeded.
Some key elements of the role include:
Maintain impeccable standards of personal hygiene and dress for all staff members.Ensure the vessel is set up for service according to established procedures and schedules.Continuously monitor and train staff to maintain the highest levels of customer service.Ensure effective communication and service delivery, including special dietary meals.Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol Legislation.Collaborate with Venue Managers to create a positive team culture.About You To be successful you must: Be customer service driven.Possess guest service experience.Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Be a team player with excellent organisational and planning skills.Possess effective problem-solving skills.Have a passion for hospitality, food, and beverage.Be available to work on weekends, public holidays, and nights.Be able to work within a fast-paced team.Key Skills that are essential to the role are: Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate - Essential.Valid First Aid Certificate - Essential.If this sounds like your dream job, we encourage you to register your interest!
