About the Role SeaLink K'gari is currently seeking a Cruise Director / Deck Hand to join our team!
As a Cruise Director, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a safe and informative sailing to K'gari, one of Australia's most iconic destinations. You will also ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, including the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers and vehicles.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with a broad range of people with a high standard of customer service to guests in the onboard café and refreshment service.
Other duties include coordinating the loading and unloading of vehicles and cargo, validating and counting boarding passes, and assisting in fuelling and general cleaning of the vessel.
We encourage candidates with previous Cruise Director / Deckhand experience gained on a commercial vehicular and passenger vessel to apply. You must also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work unsupervised and make decisions within set guidelines.
