About The Role We have multiple opportunities available for passionate and enthusiastic Cruise Attendants  to join our dynamic team here at Darwin Harbour Cruises.
These casual positions commence from March 2025.
Our Cruise Attendants are primarily responsible for greeting and assisting guests, delivering premium food and beverage services, ensuring vessel and passenger safety, upholding vessel presentation and conducting safety briefings.
Our Cruise Attendants work on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, with a large proportion of shifts rostered across afternoons, evenings and weekends.
The number of cruises we operate steadily increases by one day each month, from March through June, starting at 4 days per week, then ramping up to 7 days per week.
Working in close collaboration with the marine team, responsibilities include:  Greeting and interacting with guests during the voyage and when boarding & departing Using the till on board to process payments and purchases during voyages Responsible for the food and beverage service of guests throughout the voyage Cleaning up of food service & dining areas during and after any service Ensuring all safe food practices are followed and complying with all OH&S standards, including adhering to RSA requirements Requirements The ideal candidate will be passionate and proud of the food and service they deliver and be willing to go above and beyond for our guests, crucial in achieving our goal of sharing special places and shaping lasting memories.
You will be a team player with strong communication skills, a positive "can-do" attitude, and the flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Qualifications Responsible Service of Alcohol (essential) Provide First Aid / CPR (preferred) Food Safety Handling certificate (essential, or willing to obtain upon commencement) About You Previous experience in a similar hospitality/customer service role Previous sales experience will be deemed favourable Reliable, self-motivated and proactive, with great energy and the ability to multi-task Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong personal presentation skills A cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity to the welfare of others Able to carry out some lifting of supplies and materials daily and be able to move freely through a marine environment Must not be affected by sea sickness Have the necessary working entitlements to work in Australia, with a minimum 6-month commitment   A pre-employment medical and National Police Check may be required as part of this recruitment process.
