The role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, with in-depth experience across Finance, Compliance and Audit to join our Crown Melbourne Finance team.
This role is critical in ensuring Crown meets our regulatory requirements across gaming and non-gaming operations.
Tasked with using data analysis techniques to focus on high-risk areas, develop suitable exception reporting and identify continuous improvement opportunities, you will be responsible for:
Leading the Operational Audit team which will include managing performance, overseeing workloads, setting goals, and providing ongoing training opportunities for team members.
Managing and coordinating responses to audit requests as required from both external stakeholders and internal reviews (risk, compliance, Internal audit).
Developing data analysis dashboards to present to Exco, Blackstone and relevant business units.
Coaching the team and helping understand obligations, controls, audit process and technology to optimise procedures.
Creating and maintaining related SOPs/work instructions to align with all obligations, along with audit checklists for all relevant areas, updating as regulatory requirements.
About you
Critical thinking and analysis is key to navigate the complexity of requests we get from key stakeholders and be successful in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a balance of extensive experience in audit, finance and compliance, with the ability to uplift current processes.

You will also have:
Recognised certification of ICAA or CPA.
Extensive experience in the field of audit, finance, compliance and risk.
Highly skilled in data cleansing and analysis to interpret data and implement data-led audit techniques.
Experience working in a big four audit capacity will be highly regarded.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Proven experience of financial reporting and relaying information in a detailed and concise manner.
