Are you passionate about student safety and have a knack for administrative tasks? Girton Grammar School is looking for a reliable and dedicated Crossing Supervisor / Admin Assistant to join our team!
What You'll Do: Crossing Supervisor Duties: Ensure the safety of students and other pedestrians during peak school crossing times (8:00-8:45 AM and 3:15-4:00 PM, Monday to Friday). Manage traffic flow, ensuring a safe and orderly crossing environment. Administrative Support: Compile student reflections, manage mail deliveries, assist with absentee tracking, and handle various data entry tasks. Provide support to other departments as required. Key Skills: Attention to detail in administrative work. Safety awareness to ensure student and pedestrian safety. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with the school community. Excellent time management to balance crossing duties with admin responsibilities. Reliability and punctuality are a must. Team player to support various school departments. Selection Criteria: Experience in a similar role is a plus but not essential. Basic computer skills. First Aid certificate is an advantage.
