Cross Country Native Title Services (Cross Country NTS ) is seeking to appoint a Director to join our busy native title practice. Cross Country NTS is looking for an experienced native title lawyer who is willing to take on a diverse client workload as well as a share and directorship in the practice.
Cross Country NTS is a recognised and respected boutique law firm specialising in native title and Aboriginal corporations law. It was started in 2012 and has experienced a steady growth of work and clients since then. The current directors of Cross Country NTS have over 25 years of experience practicing in native title law and other areas of law relevant to Aboriginal people.

Cross Country NTS has numerous Western Australian clients, as well as clients in the eastern states with whom we work closely on advisory and litigious matters. Our clients include applicants/groups claiming native title and dealing with future act matters, native title prescribed bodies corporate and various other Indigenous groups seeking advice and representation regarding native title, corporate governance and Aboriginal heritage matters.
In addition to the two practising directors, Cross Country NTS currently employs a full time senior native title lawyer and a full time associate native title lawyer. There is a large volume of work in progress, which will provide the incoming director the opportunity to undertake diverse, interesting and financially rewarding work.

About You
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
A minimum of 8 years post-admission experience in the provision of legal services and/or a minimum of 4 years experience practising native title law; Excellent written, oral and cross-cultural communication skills; Exceptional drafting skills; and Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to effectively work both autonomously and in a team environment.
