Australia's leading agribusiness making a difference – Going Further Career growth and progression Based in Eight Mile Plains, QLD About the opportunity: Reporting into the East Region Crop Protection Manager, you'll be responsible for the procurement and management of crop protection products, including the management of inventory and deals.
This is a critical role within our team of four based in Eight Mile Plains.
A typical day may look like: You will support the East region crop protection procurement team with planning and sourcing crop protection products for branches.You will assist with organizing meetings with suppliers and branches as well as help drive the procurement strategy.Provide high integrity analysis and advice on a portfolio of products to the business and key stakeholders as required.Support our branch network with pricing guidance and be a key point of contact for our network, branch, and activity staff.Inventory management – seek new ways to increase stock turns, reduce excess stock, and minimize loss through expired and damaged stocks.Manage inventory levels according to budget and manage the East Region price book for specific categories.About You: To be successful, you will have a strong understanding of the Agricultural industry.
Ideally, you'll have a degree in agribusiness, business, or commerce.You will have an analytical mindset with critical thinking capability.
You'll have high attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate outcomes.Strong time management skills with the ability to manage competing demands and deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High level of Excel skills and experience with PowerBI would be desirable.Why work for us?
