The opportunity Cromarty Automation is looking for an experienced Project Manager who is responsible for coordinating, optimising and allocating engineering and technical resources to support projects, on call arrangements and general engineering works within the company.
Reporting to the PMO Manager, Engineering, we are seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the execution of automation projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage technical projects from initial concept through to delivery, ensuring alignment with client requirements, contractual obligations, scope, budget, and timelines. Plan and allocate engineering resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilisation while balancing project and other business demands. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure project success and customer satisfaction. Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and approved budgets. Identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring successful project outcomes. Foster strong relationships with clients, keeping them informed of project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations. Provide regular updates and clear communication to internal teams on project progress, risks, and changes. Ensure all projects adhere to company's occupational health & safety, quality & environmental systems as well as comply to industry standards. Support continuous improvement efforts by evaluating project processes post execution and recommending improvements for future projects. Qualifications & Experience: Proven 5+ years project management experience, preferably in an engineering or technical field. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, monitoring and control. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred. Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional project teams. Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills. What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.
