Crocosaurus Cove Tickets and Retail Team Leader Crocosaurus Cove, located in the heart of Darwin city, allows visitors a unique, up close and personal view of Australia's iconic Saltwater Crocodiles.
Bringing together some of the largest saltwater crocodiles in Australia & boasting the world's largest display of Australian reptiles, Crocosaurus Cove is a must-see attraction when visiting Darwin and the Top End.
Position Overview Crocosaurus Cove is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team in the role of Tickets and Retail Team Leader.
This role will ultimately be responsible for the park ticketing operations, and the Crocosaurus Cove Gifts and Souvenirs Retail outlet.
We are looking for a person who will coach and inspire the team to deliver the company values and ensure that exceptional customer service is achieved at every interaction with our business.
This is a full time, hands on role and will require availability over weekends and public holidays, with an immediate start date.
About the Role Full time, Salaried position Set Roster, over a 7 day week Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Maintain our Company goal to provide exceptional customer service and experience from every visit to our establishment.
Provide exceptional customer service and handle complaints effectively.
Manage bookings and liaise with travel agents.
Administration: Oversee the booking process and report issues to Management.
Maintain product knowledge and assist with invoicing and stock deliveries.
Perform monthly stocktakes.
Retail Management: Ensure the retail shop is organized and manage stock levels.
Assist with shop presentation and compile suggested orders for the Purchasing Officer.
Staff Supervision: Lead and motivate the retail & ticket sales team through regular training, team exercises and performance management strategies.
Manage the team by creating rosters and providing a positive work environment.
Provide mentorship and facilitate effective communication within the team.
Monitor daily banking activities and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
Address transaction errors as needed.
OHS and Security: Maintain a safe working environment and report safety concerns.
Ensure compliance with shop closing procedures and monitor front activities for security.
Qualifications: Strong financial interpretation skills.
A background in tourism, retail and ticketing is desirable.
Excellent people skills, especially in customer service.
Experience in stock management and KPI's.
Familiar with digital platforms Rezdy and Retail Express POS is highly regarded.
Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
