Our 13-bed Critical Care Unit supports around 1,250 admissions annually, providing high-dependency, intensive care, and specialized cardiac care.
Join a dedicated, multidisciplinary team committed to leadership and excellence in patient care.
Provide advanced critical care, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation, hemofiltration, and cardiac pacing Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver and evaluate evidence-based patient care Rotate through 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, including weekends and night shifts Lead and mentor in a supportive environment, upholding quality and safety standards Support professional growth through mandatory education, research, and development initiatives Key Responsibilities Planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based nursing care Develop professional practice in accordance with the health needs of the population and changing patterns of disease and illness Act as a patient advocate and demonstrates a commitment to the patients "Charter of Healthcare Rights and "Charter of Residents' Rights and Responsibilities Support the Nurse Unit Manager and the team to review and evaluate best practice, evidence based clinical care Role model a positive vision for change and supports change management at both local and organisational level Skills and experience Be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current Practicing Certificate Postgraduate certificate or diploma in critical care desirable Recent clinical experience working in ICU and/or CCU.
Demonstrate a high level of clinical assessment, reasoning and judgement.
